Kitty Hawk Kites is pleased to host the First Annual OBX Surf Sport Competition with multi-level kite board and surf kayak competitions. This event is FREE to spectators and there is plenty of space for those who simply want to come out and kite board or kayak! But the action is really in the competition, with top professional and amateur kite board and kayak athletes showing off their skills. Competitive events will be blended with other activities including: a product demonstration area, an industry representative showcase, and much more. Plus, the party doesn't stop when the sun goes down. There will be food and fun to celebrate while watching all the waves caught during the day's competition on a projection screen.

Levels and prizes
In both Kite boarding and surf kayaking heats of pro, amateur, men, women,
and juniors will be run. There will be product and cash prizes available for
competitors. Other noncompetitors raffles will also be held.
